My name is Adam L. Gardner, and I’m the founder of Adam L Gardner Accounting & Tax Service, Inc. I’m an Enrolled Agent with over 18 years of experience in tax accounting, and I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals, families, and small business owners make smarter, more confident financial decisions. As someone who thrives on providing practical, actionable advice, my mission is to deliver tax and accounting services that are both accurate and understandable—without the jargon or confusion that too often comes with financial work.

I began my accounting journey in Sarasota, Florida, where I worked closely with a diverse client base and built long-term relationships grounded in trust, responsiveness, and year-round support. In 2024, my family and I relocated to Wake Forest, North Carolina, where I continue serving both new and existing clients—many of whom I’ve supported for years across state lines. No matter where I’m based, my focus remains the same: providing timely, reliable, and personalized service that makes a difference in people's lives. 

I’ve always believed that the best accounting professionals are not just number crunchers—they’re advisors, advocates, and problem-solvers. Whether it's navigating IRS audits, staying compliant with evolving tax laws, or maximizing efficiency through QuickBooks and other tools, I make it my job to help clients feel in control of their financial picture.

As a firm, we’re set up to handle everything from personal tax returns to business consulting, IRS representation, QuickBooks training, and strategic tax planning. I use powerful software tools to streamline workflows and keep clients organized, compliant, and informed. I also pride myself on staying available outside of “typical tax season” because financial needs—and IRS letters—don’t wait until February.

Beyond the office, I’m a husband and a proud dad to two boys. I enjoy watching and playing sports—especially baseball and golf—and I like spending my free time woodworking, tackling home improvement projects, and chasing around our mini Bernedoodle.
